Obituary of Gary Douglas Maillet

MAILLET, Gary Douglas – The death of Gary Douglas Maillet of Saint John, NB, occurred on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Saint John the son of Leonce and Shirley A. (Daigle) Maillet, he was employed with Sears Canada Inc. Survived by his mother, Shirley Maillet; father, Leonce (Linda) Maillet; three sons, Peter A. Goes of Ottawa, Jamie R. Goes of Quispamsis, NB and Kory T. Maillet of Quispamsis; a sister, Michele (Glen) White of Saint John and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews. Predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Augustine and Ombeline Maillet and his maternal grandparents, Ned and Mary Jane Daigle. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Saturday and Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Pius X Church, Somerset St., Saint John on Monday, July 17, 2006 at 11 am. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
