Obituary of William F. Batten

The death of William “Bill” F. Batten Jr., of 400 Douglas Avenue, Saint John, occurred on Monday, July 10, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Bill was born in Ireland on June 26, 1961 and was adopted by the Batten family in Ontario. He was employed with McDonald’s Resturants in Saint John for past 14 years. He is survived by one sister, Deborah Tibbits of Ontario and many friends and co-workers in Saint John. By request, there will be no visiting at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) on Monday, July 17, 2006 at 9:00 AM. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery.
