Obituary of Anna Enman Whipple
The death of Anna Enman (Howe) Whipple occurred unexpectedly on July 24, 2006 at her residence. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late William Howe and the late Myrtle Howe Best. She had worked with the Salvation Army over the years. She was an avid Bingo Player and loved to go fishing. She is survived by her sons; Alfred Jr. (Muriel) of Saint John, Eldon (Cynthia) of the Philippines, Ron Whipple (Heather) of Saint John, Danny Whipple (Shelley) of Saint John, daughters; Linda Daigle (Omer) of Willow Grove, Brenda Enman of Saint John, Sandra Payne (Donnie) of Saint John, Joanne Saunders (Ross) of Baxter’s Corner, Rhonda O’Connell (Neil) of Summerville, Amanda Jo Whipple of Saint John, brothers; Fred, Ronald, Wayne, William (Buster), sisters; Winnifred, Jean, Dorothy, Sandra, 20 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Her husband Alfred Sr., daughter Anna Whipple and sisters Norma and Betty predeceased her. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday from 7-9 pm and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2006, at 2:15 pm, from Brenan’s Chapel, followed by cremation. Remembrances made to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
