Obituary of Audrey B. Alberts

ALBERTS, AUDREY B.- The death of Audrey Bernice Alberts, of 411 Ellerdale Street, Saint John, wife of the late William Robert Alberts, occurred on Friday, July 28, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Garfield and Annie Noftell. Audrey enjoyed playing bingo, going to the Casino, watching poker and always wanted the best for her family. She is survived by four sons, Jimmy (Sue) of Prince Edward Island, William of Saint John, Percy (Barb) of Lower Sackville, NS and Raymond (Susan Ryan) of Saint John, five daughters, Pamela Sansom (William) of Kentville, NS, Penny Alberts of Saint John, Heather Alberts (Brian Northrup) of Quispamsis, Susie Alberts-Hines (Robert) of Saint John and Mandey Marshall (Barry) of Saint John, brothers, Donald Noftell (Sandra) of St. Martins, Garfield “Buddy” Noftell of Sussex, Robin Noftell of Gardners Creek and Jimmy Noftell of Willow Grove, two sisters, June LeBlanc (Laurie) of Sussex and Patsy Dupres of Lower Sackville, NS, nine grandchildren, Christopher, Courtney, Emma, Jordan, Sheena Ryan, Kevin McLenaghan, Haley, Jeffrey and Natalie, several cousins, nieces, nephews and Ed the cat. By request there will be no visiting at the funeral home. Following cremation, a private family memorial service will be held at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Extra-Mural Hospital Foundation or the charity of the donors’ choice would be appreciated.
