Obituary of Sandra Wright

Quietly in the afternoon of August 19th Sandy passed away after a brave struggle with lung cancer. She will be remembered for her dedication as a nurse, generosity of spirit, devotion to her family and loyalty to her friends. She leaves her husband, Douglas, her son David and his wife Katy of Toronto, her daughter Jennifer and her husband Semme of Nottingham, New Hampshire. She also leaves grandchildren Sydney, Liam, Andrew and Ella. A funeral service will be held at 11:00a.m. on Wednesday, August 23rd at the Westfield United Church, Grand Bay-Westfield; followed by interment at the Long Reach United Church Cemetery. An invitation is extended to celebrate Sandy's life at the Sherwood-Patstone cottage on the Long Reach on September 2nd at 2:00p.m. (take the Westfield Ferry and follow the highway 12.1 km to Admiral Lane, follow Admiral Lane to its end). In lieu of flowers, donations in Sandy's memory may be made to the Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
