Obituary of EMMA I. WORRALL
The death of Emma Irene Worrall, of the Loch Lomond Villa, Saint John, wife of the late Erven William “Jack” Worrall, occurred on Thursday, August 24, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Born in Plaster Rock on November 14, 1918, she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Phoebe Ann (Wilson) Day. Mrs. Worrall was a Nurses Aid at the East Saint John Hospital for many years, and during her career had also been employed with the Saint John General Hospital, Ridgewood Veterans Wing and St. John & St. Stephen Nursing Home. She is survived by two sons, Ervine (Pat) of Saint John and Steven (Sandra) of Dartmouth, NS, six grandchildren, Stacy Worrall, Chantel Worrall, Becky Worrall, Andrew Worrall, Kimmy Stevens and Janet Strawbridge, three step-grandchildren, Donna, Mark and Holly, two great grandchildren, Magen Worrall and Parker William Stevens, five step-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by one son, William John “Jack” and all of her brothers and sisters. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, August 28, 2006 at 1:00 PM. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick would be appreciated.
