Obituary of ROSS S. BROWN
BROWN, ROSS S.- The death of Ross Sterling Brown of Quispamsis, loving husband of 40 years to Donna (MacKenzie) Brown, occurred unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Chipman, NB on July 21, 1944, he was the son of the late Harry and Beatrice (Beers) Brown. Ross owned and operated Crane All Rentals in Golden Grove for over 30 years and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 946, since 1974. He loved spending time in Chipman with his family and canoeing down the Salmon River. Ross was a very hard worker and was always ready to lend a helping hand. He loved his family and grandchildren, and will be sadly missed. Besides his loving wife, his is survived by three sons, Kris (Carolyn) of Grand Bay-Westfield, Trevor and Stacey, both at home, two daughters, Susan Green (Keith) of Titusville and Priscilla Brown (Michael Lockhart) of Saint John, two brothers, Wayne (Barb) and Hayward, three sisters, Laura Langin (Lindey), Gwen Briggs (Arnette) and Rita Branscombe, all of Chipman, four grandchildren, Melissa, Marcus, Kelly and Noah, several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Doreen Richardson. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at 10:00 AM. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the charity of the donors’ choice would be appreciated.
