Obituary of Francis Raymond McDougall
The death of Francis “Teeny” McDougall, husband of the late, Lillian (Reid) McDougall, occurred on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB he was the son of the late, Andrew and Lily (Brideau) McDougall. Francis served in World War II as a Trooper with the RC Dragoons from 1943-1946. He was employed as a Seaman for the Coast Guard for several years before working with the Atlantic Pilotage for 24 years before his retirement. Francis was an avid golfer. Survived by his children: William “Billy” McDougall of Germany, Lynn Gould (David) of Saint John and Nancy Jackson (Robert) of Scotland, his sister, Lillian Ring of Saint John and several grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers: Harry and Earl, his sisters: Gertrude and Kathleen. A special thank you to the Nurses and Staff of 4BS for their care and compassion was greatly appreciated by the family. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424) with visiting on Monday from 7 … 9 pm and Tuesday 2 … 4 and 7 … 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at 2:15 pm at Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
