Obituary of John David MacDonald

The death of John David MacDonald of Saint John, NB, husband of the late Florence (Joudry) MacDonald, occurred on Monday, December 11, 2006 at the Loch Lomond Villa. Born in Miramichi he was a son of the late Thomas and Minnie (Sullivan) MacDonald. John had worked for Trecartin Bros. for 18 years as a truck driver until his retirement in 1967. He is survived by son, David of Fort MacMurray, Alberta, daughter, Susan (Joseph) Doiron of Saint John, sisters, Viola (William) Henderson, Irene Mullin and Marion Estey, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents he was predeceased by sisters, Leona, Marjorie and Beatrice. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424) with visiting on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel at 9:30 am. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
