Obituary of M. Eleanor Quigg

M. ELEANOR QUIGG … The death of Eleanor Quigg occurred on June 23, 2007 at St. Joseph’s Hospital after a period of failing health. Born in Saint John on June 23, 1920 to the late James and Margaret “Nelly” Ackerson. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband John R. “Johnny” Quigg and brother Edward Ackerson. Eleanor is survived by her two sisters, Roselyn Power of London, ON and Marie Ackerson of Saint John, NB; her daughter, Carolyn Stewart; her son, Brian Quigg; grandchildren John Stewart of Calgary, AB, James (Connie) Stewart of Saint John, NB, Patrick Quigg of Saint John, NB and Deanna Lee Quigg of Halifax, NS; one great-grand child, Maria Stewart and several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation by family request. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of donor’s choice.
