Obituary of Maud W. H. Malcolm
The death of Maud W. H. Malcolm of Kervin Road, Saint John, wife of the late Bruce Malcolm, occurred on Monday, July 2, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Dundee, Scotland, on February 6, 1927, she was the daughter of the late George Pirie and Maud Mary (Hepburn) Beats. Maud was a very active member of St. Mary and St. Bartholomew’s Church and local craft groups. She is survived by two sons, Roderick Bruce Malcolm (Lynne) of Rothesay, Euan Lachlan Malcolm (Jan) of Auckland, New Zealand, one daughter, Fiona Maud (Malcolm) Wilson of Saint John, six grandchildren, Morag, Kirsty, Andrew, Natalie, Claire and Charles and two great grandchildren, Elliot and Amelia. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held at St. Mary and St. Bartholomew’s Church on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 2:00 PM. Following cremation, interment will take place in Alyth, Perthshire, Scotland. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Special thanks to the Staff of SICU of the Saint John Regional Hospital for their exemplary care and to Rev. Greg McMullin for his constant support.
