Obituary of William ‘Bill’ Bernard McLean
The death of William ‘Bill’ Bernard McLean, husband of Susan (Howe) McLean, occurred on August 7, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Miramichi, NB, he was the son of the late Jordan and Margaret Agnes (McAulay) McLean. He was employed with Saint John Ship Building Ltd. before his retirement. He enjoyed all things mechanical and would help family and friends fix anything he could. Besides his wife he is survived by his daughters Betty McLean, Suzanne Osmon and her husband Ron, Joan Beaudet and her husband Dennis, Nancy Stevens, all of Saint John, brother Ernie McLean of Moncton, sister Margaret McLean of Miramichi, his grandchildren Melissa, Michael, Michelle, Nicole, Natasha, Karly, R.J., great-grandchildren Samantha and Marissa, the Savoy Family, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Brothers Mel and Mike and sister Mary predeceased him. Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A family funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, August 10, 2007, at 2:15 pm, from Brenan’s Chapel. Interment at St. Joesph’s Cemetery. Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the New Burunswick Lung Association would be appreciated.
