Obituary of Allison Albert Frederick Clarke

The death of Allison Clarke of Saint John, NB, husband of the late Marion (Bannister) Clarke, occurred on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on August 3, 1939 in Saint John, he was a son of the late Alfred and May (Bishop) Clarke. Allison was a truck driver for most of his working years. Survived by his common law spouse, Hazel Finn; one daughter, Patty (Kenny) Butler of Saint John; three sons: Al (Corry) of Saint John, Dan (Tracey) of Rothesay and Glen of Saint John; one brother, Malcolm (Nancy) Clarke; three grandchildren: Danny Jr., Alicia and Kenny Jr.; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife, Marion on July 14, 2007; brothers, Robert and Wayne; sister, Lorraine Allaby. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be hled from Brenan’s Chapel on Friday, August 10, 2007 at 11 am. Interment will be in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB or any charity of choice.
