Obituary of Marie Antoinette ‘Tony’ Small
Marie Antoinette ‘Tony’ Small passed away on November 28, 2007 at the Loch Lomond Villa where she resided since September 19, 2001. She was born January 28, 1920 in Souris, PEI. Her parents Maximillan and Carrie Madore of Souris, PEI, and son Burton Joseph Small predeceased her. She is survived by her loving husband Stanford Small of Lepreau, son Mel Small (Jan), daughter Carolyn Olive (Murray) of Oromocto, and Alana Crawford (Lance), daughter-in-law Margaret Small and sister-in-law Janice McMonigle (William) of Saint John, grandchildren Krista Olive (James Wood), Tanya Wood (Art), Jason Small, Steven Small, and Brian Small, and great-grandchildren Tyler, Kristen, Madeline, Cameron, Brooklyn, Gage, Ava, and Codey, several nieces and nephews and close relatives from Canada and the United States. Tony was a homemaker and the President of the RCAF Ladies Auxiliary from 1967-1968. Visiting will be held at the Loch Lomond Villa Auditorium of Friday from 10:00 until 11:00 am when the funeral service will be held followed by interment at Maces Bay Community Cemetery. Remembrances made to the Loch Lomond Villa would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements are under the care of Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424). Special thanks is given to the nurses, LPN’s, caregivers and staff of the Loch Lomond Villa who provided excellent care and compassion. For all you did for Tony, the family are extremely grateful.
