Obituary of Joseph Albert Ernest Anderson

The death of Ernest “Andy” Anderson of Mecklenburg Street, Saint John, NB, occurred on Saturday, December 27th, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Barryville, NB, he was the son of the late Albert Anderson and Agnes (Ross) McCafferty. Andy served in the Korean War and then became a bricklayer by trade working most of his life in Sudbury, Ontario before retiring and moving to Saint John, NB. Andy is survived by one sister, Clara Dunham of Winnipeg; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers, Archie and Borden Ross. At Andy's request, there will be no visitation or service. Following cremation, a graveside committal will take place in Barryville, NB, in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Romero House or any charity of the donor's choice.
