Obituary of Ivy Ruby Pearl Lawson
Ivy Ruby Pearl Lawson of Saint John, wife of James G. Lawson, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 7, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Saint John, Ivy was Presbyterian by faith, and also attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with her husband. An avid chess player, Ivy also enjoyed hunting with her husband. In addition to her husband, Ivy is survived by two sisters, Roberta Ogden (Murray) of Grand Bay-Westfield, and Ann Campbell (Rick) of Saint John West; and by several nieces, nephews, and grand nieces. Ivy was predeceased by her mother, Myrtle (Olton) Fosler, and by a brother, Robert. Although there will be no visitation time, relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service which will be held on Friday, April 11, 2008 at 1:00 PM from Grace Presbyterian Church (formerly the Church of St. John and St. Stephen), Coburg Street, Saint John. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances to Grace Presbyterian Church Wheelchair Lift Fund would be appreciated by the family.
