Obituary of Edna MacVicar

MacVicar, Edna- The death of Edna MacVicar, of Turnbull Nursing Home, wife of the late Donald MacVicar, occurred on Monday, April 14, 2008 at her residence. Born in Saint John, NB the daughter of the late Leonard and Jennette (Hurst) Marshall. Edna was a member of the Maude Taylor Women’s Auxiliary of St. Luke’s Church for 50 years. She loved to spend time gardening. Survived by her son, Gordon (Betty) MacVicar of Saint John, NB; three grandchildren, Andrew MacVicar, Kevin (Charity) MacVicar, and Amy (Jason) Peters all of Saint John, NB; four great-grandchildren and two nephews, Allan and Robert Marshall. Predeceased by her brother Gordon Marshall. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held from All Saints Anglican Church, Park Ave on Thursday at 2:00pm. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
