Obituary of Archie Brown

Brown, W. Archibald. … The death of Wayne Archibald “Archie” Brown of Saint John, NB, husband of the late Marie (Nairn) Brown, occurred on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on June 5, 1933 at Glasgow, Scotland. Archie had served with the Royal Marines and was a member of RCL Branch # 53 Jervis Bay and RCL Branch # 2 Carleton, he also enjoyed playing darts. He was employed with Saint John Shipbuilding as a shipwright. Archie is survived by a son, Kelty (Tara) Brown of Saint John; two grandchildren, Leigha and Kayla. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday, December, 10, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2008 from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel at 1: 00 pm. Interment will take place at a later date. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
