Obituary of Donald Albert John Scott
The death of Donald Scott of the Loch Lomond Villa, formerly of Duke Street, West, Saint John, NB, occurred at his residence on Wednesday, January 21st, 2004. Born in Saint John, NB, he was the husband of Gwen (Norris) Scott for over fifty years and the son of the late Walter S. and Viola (Belyea) Scott. Donald was a member of St. George's Anglican Church and was an Ontario graduate of UFT, teaching both in Ontario and New Brunswick. Donald is survived by loving wife Gwen, two daughters, Jeannine McCullum (Gary) of Saint John, NB and Mary E. Scott of Ottawa, ON; two brothers, Malcolm “Chip” Scott (Eveline) and Walter “Pete” Scott, both of Saint John, NB; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by daughter, Gwendolyn Anne, sister, Ruth and brothers, Norman and Gerald. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424, with visitation on Saturday from 1-3 pm. A funeral service will be held in Brenan's Chapel following visitation on Saturday, January 24th, 2004 at 3:00 pm. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, at a later date. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saint John.
