Obituary of C. Allan Craig

Allan Craig , husband, father, friend, and golf partner passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, May 10, 2009. He leaves his wife and best friend Mary (Johnston Ross) Craig; daughter Krista (Donovin) Petre; step-son and golf protégée Christopher Ross and future golfer grandson Tyler Petre. Allan is also survived by three brothers: Tom, Ken and Steve Craig; step-sisters: Shirley Cook and Connie O’Brien and their families. After retiring from Aliant in 1999, Allan dedicated his days to his passion for golf. At Allan’s request there will not be any traditional visitation or funeral service. Please join Allan’s family for a celebration of his life at the Rockwood Park Golf Course, on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 from 7-9 pm. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). For those who wish, remembrances of Allan may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
