Obituary of Peggy M. E. Wood

Wood, Peggy M. E. The death of Peggy M. E. Wood, loving wife of the late William Charles Wood, occurred on February 3, 2004, after a lengthy illness at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Doris (Burgess) Ingram. She was a member of St. Luke's Anglican Church. She was a cherished mother to Carolyn (Buddy) George of Grand Bay-Westfield, Nancy McCaffrey of Saint John, Barry (Vera) of Saint John, and Carla Gee of Ottawa, ON, her sisters Patricia (David) Hannah of Saint John, Wendy Hartin of Saint John, Norma (Doug) Cosman of Halifax, her sisters-in-law Norma Huestis of Saint John, Gloria Ingram of Ottawa, ON, and her loving grandchildren Jamie, Colin, Christopher, Jonathan, Jennifer, Shawna and Michael, great-grandchildren Calvin, Erin and Emma and several nieces and nephews. Her brothers David and Edward Ingram predeceased her. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday from 7-9 PM and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 6, 2004, at 1:00 PM, from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances to the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Canada or charity of choice would be appreciated.
