Obituary of L. Fay Flanagan

Unexpectedly, the sudden passing of Fay Flanagan, wife of Ed Flanagan of L’etang, NB, occurred at Saint John on Sunday, June 7, 2009. Fay was born on November 7, 1956 at North Battleford, SA to Isobel (Newstead) Parks and the late Morris Parks. Fay worked as a waitress and various other jobs throughout her life. She was a loving wife, step-mother and grandmother. Besides her loving husband, Ed, Fay is survived by her two step-daughters: Katie Flanagan (Joel Harris) of Pennfield and Angela Vance (Jamie) of St. George; one brother, Jim (Melanie) of Glaslyn, SA; three sisters: Frances (Armen) and Carol both of Medicine Hat, AB and Penny of Saskatoon, SA; one granddaughter, Lauren Vance and several nieces and nephews. At Fay’s request there will no formal visitation or funeral service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). For those who wish, remembrances to the charity of donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
