Obituary of Arthur Morris

Arthur (Art) Morris of Calgary, formerly of Saint John, NB, passed away at the Bethany Care Centre, Calgary on Wednesday, February 4, 2004 at the age of 97 years. Art was one of thirteen children born to Ella-Mae and Matthew Morris on December 31, 1906 in Saint John, NB. He resided there until 1988 when his wife, Ted, passed away. Art worked for a number of Ford dealerships in Saint John, NB over the years, retiring from Downey Motors at the age of seventy-two years. He moved to Calgary, then later to Edmonton and returned to Calgary in 1992. In 1995 Art became a resident of Bethany Care Centre. He was a hard worker, known for his intellect, wit and kind heart. Art is remembered by his son and daughter-in-law Peter and Rochelle Morris; his granddaughter Christina Morris, all of Calgary; his brother-in-law Gordon (Kay) McNulty of Glendora, CA; as well as numerous cherished nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Ted in 1988, his parents and twelve siblings.
