Obituary of Liberty Douglas James Parrack

The death of Liberty Parrack of Saint John, NB, occurred unexpectedly February 7, 2004, at his home. Liberty is survived by one brother, Bruce and family of Ontario. Employed by St. John's (Stone) Church as Sexton, Liberty cared not only for the building but for the people and gave of himself to both, often giving his time for special projects. He was loved very much and will be missed for many reasons but especially for his sense of humor and unique out look on life. There will be visiting on Tuesday, February 17, 2004, 7-11 PM, and a funeral service Wednesday, February 18, 2004, at St. John's (Stone) Church, 87 Carleton Street, Saint John, NB, E2L 2Z2 (634-1474). Two suggestions for memorials, which were very dear to Libery: The Christian Council for Reconciliation, St. Luke's Center, Box 434, Moncton, NB, E1C 8L4 and the “Youth Room” project at St. John's (Stone) Church.
