Obituary of M. Eva O’Brien

With great sadness the family of Eva O’Brien, wife of the late Delpha O’Brien, wish to announce her passing at the Loch Lomond Villa on Friday, February 05, 2010. She was born on February 14, 1920 at Sackville. Eva is survived by her two daughters, Gail Arthurs (Richard) of Summerville and Dorothy Smith (Ronald) of Hampton; six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Besides her husband, Eva was predeceased her parents, Benjamin and Edith Leger and brother, Bing Taylor. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Matthew’s Church, Grand Bay-Westfield on Monday February 8, 2010 at 11AM. Interment will take place in St. Augustine’s Cemetery, Grand Bay-Westfield in the spring. For those who wish, remembrances to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
