Obituary of Melanie Dawn Davis

Melanie Dawn Davis of Saint John passed away tragically at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, May 10, 2010. She was born at Saint John on April 12, 1982, the only child of Ron and Heather (Kearns) Davis. Melanie worked as a manager at Blockbuster, and always had a special place in her heart for animals. She is survived by her parents, Ron and Heather Davis of Saint John; her grandmothers, Marie Davis and Marjorie James, both of Saint John; aunts and uncles Donna Kelly (Brian) of Saint John, Bill Kearns (Mary) of Saint John, Darrell Davis (Karen) of Salt Springs, Kim Pitt (Terry) of Saint John, and Ken Davis (Janet) of Ontario. Melanie was predeceased by her grandfathers, Ronald E. Davis and Ronald E. Kearns. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday from 7-9 PM and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM from Brenan’s Chapel. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
