Obituary of M. Jean Perry

The death of Jean Perry, wife of J. Gordon Perry, occurred on March 29, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, holding the hands of angels, called nurses, Jean went peacefully into the presence of her Lord. Born at Hanford Brook, Kings Co., NB, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Edna Mary (King) Allan. She was a great lover of life, her humor carried her through many difficult times. Her love of family and care of others was her life's passion. Besides her husband she is survived by her daughter Gail Bennett (Ted), St Martins NB, her brothers Stuart Allan (Vi) Oromocto NB, Joseph Allan Millstream, NB, her stepmother Helen Allan, half-brothers Filmore, Gary, Kenneth, Richard, Stirling and James, her sister, Dora Watson, Saint John, NB, her half-sister Carol, Toronto, Ont., her grandson Darren Bennett (Becky) and great granddaughters, Andrea, Julia, Emily, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Medley Yeomans, brothers Raymond, Dean and half brother Eugene Allan and her sisters Annie Stephens and Emily Boyle. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on April 1, 2004, at 1:00 PM, from Forest Hills Baptist Church, Mountain Road, Saint John, NB. Interment to take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
