Obituary of Phil L. Prosser
Surrounded by his loving family, the passing of Rev. Philip Lloyd Prosser, of Hampton, NB, husband of Betty (Hutchings) Prosser, occurred on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Born at Gagetown, NB on February 13, 1952, he was a son of the late Harold and Mildred (Steeves) Prosser. He was the Pastor at Victory Assembly for many years. Phil was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, he was well known for his caring smile and laughter. Besides his loving wife, Phil is survived by his son, Nathan Prosser (Catherine) of St. George, NB; his daughter, Natasha Kennedy (Brad) of Quispamsis, NB; grandchildren, Noah, Alisha, Isaac and Olivia; nephews, Mark, Michael, Jonathan, Philip; nieces, Rachel, Becky, Andrea and Heather; sister-in-laws, Erica Prosser (Paul) and Melody Mullen (Mike); brother-in-laws, Bill Hutchings, Murray Hutchings (Marlene), Jim Hutchings (Laurie) and Paul Hutchings; Uncle, Rev. Calvin Prosser (Marie), as well as several cousins, and great nieces and nephews. Phil was predeceased by his brother Paul and his infant brother, David. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John. 634-7424 with visiting on Sunday, from 2-9 PM. Funeral service will take place on Monday, October 25, 2010 from the Full Gospel Assembly, Mount Pleasant, Saint John, at 11:00 AM. For those who wish, a living memorial would be appreciated by the family.
