Obituary of G. Bradley Allen
Unexpectedly, the death of George Bradley Allen of Upper Golden Grove, husband of Joanne (Roy) Allen, occurred on Saturday, April 3, 2004 at his residence. Born in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of G. Keith and Margaret (McGibbon) Allen. Bradley owned and operated C.T. Drafting and was employed with D.F.S. as a Civil Technologist. He was previously employed with Irving Oil Designs and Engineering and Hamish Murdoch. He was a member of NB Society of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists, St. Andrew's Society. He enjoyed boating, water skiing, hockey and snowmobiling at the lodge in South Branch, Oromocto Lake. Besides his wife and parents he is survived by one daughter Ally Jo Allen of Upper Golden Grove, NB, two brothers Gregory Allen of Dorchester, NB, Kenneth (Gail) McGee of Halifax, NS, one sister Margaret McGee of Winnipeg, MB, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424) with visiting on Monday and Tuesday, April 5 & 6, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from St. Paul's Anglican Church Rothesay on Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
