Obituary of Brittany Dawn Painter - Keleher
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Brittany Dawn Painter-Keleher announces her passing at Saint John Regional Hospital on May 16, 2011. She was born on August 23, 1993 in Saint John to Cathy Painter (Corey) and Jeff Keleher (Darlene). Brittany attended Saint John the Baptist School. Brittany had the opportunity to go to New York to see the set of Sesame Street with the Children’s Wish Foundation. "So if you need to know how to get to Sesame Street, just ask Brittany". She enjoyed looking at bright colourful lights and long scenic drives. Besides by her parents Brittany is survived by her sister, Amber; brothers, Brycen and Adam; aunts and uncles, Timmy, Jamie, Ricky, Tammy, Tanya, Carolyn, Susie, Lori, Jackie and Ronnie; grandparents, Laura Gray (Leo McIvor), Cathy Painter, Leslie Painter (Donna Painter); several great aunts, great uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by grandfather, Timmy Keleher Sr. and great grandparents Marc and Janet Bourque. The family would like to express the gratitude to Extra Mural, Pediatrics Unit, Saint John Regional Hospital, I.W.K. Hospital and Special Needs Program for all their support and guidance and care for Brittany. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visitation on Wednesday, from 2-4, 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Pius X Church, 316 Somerset Street on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 2 pm. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Children’s Wish foundation or I.W.K Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
