Obituary of Randy Hatt
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Randy Hatt of Kingston, NB, husband of Nancy (Armstrong) Hatt, which occurred on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care. Born in St. Stephen, NB, on February 11, 1949, he was a son of Thelma (Bridges) and the late Joseph Hatt. Randy was employed with Irving Paper for 35 years until his retirement from the maintenance department in 2004. He enjoyed darts, snowshoeing, four-wheeling, gardening, landscaping, and designing wooden crafts and furniture for family and friends. Besides his wife and mother he is survived by two daughters: Shelly Hatt (Ryan O’Brien) of Titusville, NB, and Christine Hatt (Jaime Johnson) of Quispamsis; one brother, Richard Hatt of Rothesay; one sister, Cindy Hatt of Sussex; several nieces and a nephew. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Friday, October 28, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit or a charity of the donor’s choice.
