Obituary of Clifford Hampton

The death of Clifford Hampton, of Saint John, occurred on October 19, 2002, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late James and Ellen (Shields) Mathieson. He was a veteran of WW II and was employed with various companies retiring from the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires. He was an avid dart player. He is survived by his son Randy Hampton and his long time special friend Donald McGarity and family. He was predeceased by his brother Thomas. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2002, at 1:00 PM from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Field of Honour. Remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
