Obituary of Joseph Pierre Jacques Tremblay
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Joseph Pierre Jacques Tremblay, husband of Cecelia (Jesso), which occurred on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Quebec City on May 1, 1941 he was a son of the late Rosario and Cecile (Germain) Tremblay. Jacques was a member of the Royal Canadian Navy. He worked for 30 years with Haldor Ltd. until he retired in 2005. Jacques was a minor hockey coach for many years. He was a member of the Rockwood Park Golf and Country Club. Jacques is survived by his loving wife, Cecelia; five children, Deborah (Chris) Boudreau of Saint John; Brenda (Mike) Ross of Quispamsis; Michelle (Jason) Tremblay-Richard of Edmonton; Nicolle (Troy) Grant of Moncton and Terri-Lynn Tremblay (Colin Kinney) of Quispamsis; eleven grandchildren, Adam, Jackie, Andrew, Christopher, Krista, Heather, Gregory, Rebecca, Courtney, Mattieu and Chloe "baby"; one great-grandchild, Cameron; three brothers, Marc Andre Tremblay of Quebec City; Claude Tremblay of Quebec City and Jean Tremblay of Quebec City; mother-in-law, Hazel Jesso. Predeceased by his brother, Pierre. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Thursday, November 10, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 11, 2011 at 12 noon from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. For those who wish remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or The Give 2011 – Stem Cell would be appreciated by the family.
