Obituary of Jeremy G. G. Taylor
After a 17 year battle with cancer, Jeremy Taylor passed away peacefully on November 23, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born on October 19, 1942 at Saint John to the late John and Kathryn (Morton) Taylor. He worked at Irving Paper for many years, then started his own company Certeris Corp. an accounting firm. In 1994 he mentored Mark Hughes and they started building Windoor and subsequently they started MDH Holdings Property Development. He was a member of United Empire Loyalists and various art groups. Jeremy was a published author, avid reader and writer and world traveler. He loved the Saint John River and Oak Point "The Rhine of Canada". He is remembered by the Hughes family as an adopted uncle; Mark and his wife, Debbie and their children: Caleb, Cameron, Maria, Rachel and Jacob. Jeremy was the last surviving member of his immediate family. At Jeremy’s Request there will be no formal visitation and funeral service. A graveside service will be on Friday, November 25, 2011 at 3:00 PM in Old Cedar Hill Cemetery, Lancaster Avenue. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). For those who wish remembrances to the Main Street Baptist Church or SPCA/Animal Rescue League.
