Obituary of Lloyd G. Parlee

The death of Lloyd G. Parlee, husband of Jessie (Mullin) Parlee, occurred on November 6, 2002, at the Ridgewood Veteran's Wing. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late George and Frances (Belyea) Parlee. He served as a Petty Officer during WW II with the Royal Canadian Navy. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 69. He was employed in sales and retired to the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires providing security at the Saint John Airport and the Provincial Building. He was an ardent salmon fisherman. Besides his wife he is survived by his sons Bert of California, USA, and Jack of Halifax, NS. He was predeceased by his brother Jack. Following cremation at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), a family memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2002, at 2:15 PM, from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at Whitney Baptist Cemetery, Northumberland County, at a later date.
