Obituary of Walter Nelson Joseph Osborne

The death of Sonny Osborne, of Saint John, NB, husband of Nancy (Carroll) Osborne, occurred on Friday, June 25, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital following a lengthy struggle with Multiple Sclerosis. Born in Saint John he was a son of Walter and Jane (Laird) Osborne and had worked at McAvity Foundry. Besides his wife and his mother he is survived by one son, Timothy of Moncton, NB; two brothers, Leonard (Elizabeth) Osborne of Bethel, PEI and Bruce Al (Glenna) Osborne of Shelburn, ON; one sister, Mary Jane (Dwight) Oulette of Saint John and two grandsons, Deven and Erick Osborne of Nova Scotia. Predeceased by his father. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Monday, June 28, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at 10:00 am. from St. Anne's Church, 144 Simpson Dr., Saint John. Interment will follow in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Children's Wish Foundation or the I.W.K. Hospital.
