Obituary of Ottilie Anna Emma Murphy

The death of Ottilie Murphy of Rothesay, NB, wife of the late H. Arthur Murphy, occurred on Sunday, July 4, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Germany, she was a daughter of the late Leopold and Katharina (Greb) Reichert. Ottilie had worked as a cook for a number of years on the Digby Ferry and other local establishments in Saint John. Survived by one step daughter, Rosemary (Harold) Sharpe of Red Deer, Alberta; one step-daughter-in-law, Ruth Murphy; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one niece in Germany. Predeceased by step-children, Arthur Murphy and Marie Pierce and sister and brothers in Germany. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424. Following cremation a funeral service will be held at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, July 7, 2004 at 3 pm with visiting at 2 pm. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
