Obituary of B. Evelyn Griffin

The death of Evelyn Griffin, wife of the late Ernest Griffin occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, September 29, 2012. She was born on December 12, 1915 in Cole’s Island. Evelyn was a loving wife and mother dedicating her life to her family. She is survived by her son, John Griffin (Nancy) of Darlings Island; grandchildren: Andrew Griffin, Gail Clark (Gary) and Sally Lyons (Justin); great-grandchildren: Edward, Eric, Micah, Hannah and Marshall and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband; parents, Harry and Bertha (Chapman) Dryden and sisters: Ada Armstrong and Ethel Stevenson. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
