Obituary of Barbara Ann Fairweather
It is with great sadness the family of Barbara Ann Fairweather, loving wife of Floyd Fairweather, announce her passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on November 23, 2012. Born in Saint John, NB on January 2, 1942 she was a daughter of the late William James and Doris (Little) Blair. In addition to her husband, Floyd, Barbara is survived by her daughter, Rose Haslett of Saint John; step daughters Kelly Cooper (Rick) of Prince Albert, AB, Nancy and Lisa Fairweather of Sussex; grandchildren Ryan, Kayla and Greg Haslett; step grandchildren Mark and Lilian Cooper; sisters Frances Adams of Latimore Lake, and Margaret Blair of Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Doris Blair; brothers James, Myles, Lawrence and Clifford Blair; and sisters Thelma Mailman, Mary Near, Pearle Dorey and Dorothy Blair. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Saturday, November 24 and Sunday, November 25 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral will be held at Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, November 26 at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, NB Diabetes Association, the Kidney Foundation, or any charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
