Obituary of Raymond A. F. Jenkins
The death of Bud Jenkins occurred on Monday, December 10, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a brief illness. He was born on February 4, 1932 in Saint John to the late Arthur and Margaret (Donovan) Jenkins. Bud worked as an insurance adjuster with Provincial Insurance for many years until his retirement. He was a champion bowler, playing and winning in many leagues and tournaments including the provincial tournament. Bud loved to camp at Mic Mac Campground, and go fourwheelering with the boys. He was also a ranked horseshoe player, a member of the Sportsman’s Club, bingo caller, and an avid Montreal Canadians fan. Bud is survived by his son, Patrick of Saint John; daughters: Suzanne Hansen (David) of Quispamsis and Angie Jenkins of Wolfville, NS; step-son, Sean Hedberg (Michelle); step-daughter, Tanya Hedberg (Mark); grandchildren: Nicolas, and Emily; step-grandson, Colin; aunts: Dorothy Moore and Mary Maloney; nephew, Holly and niece, Beth. He was predeceased by his parents; life partner, Brenda Hedberg and brother, William Jenkins. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 12 noon. For those who wish remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
