Obituary of Meta Vivian van Malsen-Boyd

Meta Vivian van Malsen-Boyd of Quispamsis passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born at Saint John on July 4, 1925, she was a daughter of the late William and Muriel (Craft) Boyd. Meta is survived by her children, Paula van Malsen (William) of Saint John, Jim Brown (Trudy) of Belmont, Wilhelmina Ogilvie of St. Catherine’s, Ontario, Muriel Lindsay (Tom) of Saint John, and Michael van Malsen (Donna) of Rothesay; her brother, George Boyd (Sharon) of Saint John; her sister, Betty Parks (John) of Saint John; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Meta was predeceased by her sister, Marjorie Ross. In keeping with Meta’s wishes, no formal funeral services will be held at this time. For those who wish, remembrances to any charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
