Obituary of Michael Shawn McDade

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Michael Shawn McDade announces his passing on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on September 5, 1962 he was a son of the late Arthur and Dorothy (Logue) McDade. Mike worked for the West Side Co-op until it closed. He had a great passion for singing, dancing, listening to all kinds of music, writing in his daily journal and watching daytime soap operas. Mike also loved spending time at the Aquatic Centre working out. He was a very well mannered and polite person with a great sense of humour. He is survived by his siblings, Peter (Alayne) of Red Deer, AB; Paul (Mary) and Danny (Margo) both of Saint John; special nieces and nephews, Kathleen McDade (Alain Dallaire), Andrew McDade, Rosalind McDade, Peter McDade (Angela McEwen), Kevin McDade, Patrick McDade (Sasha Koumbias), Brendan McDade (Ashley) and Michelle McDade; one uncle, Bill McDade; one aunt, Norma Logue; sister-in-law, Jo-Ann Boyle; brothers-in-law, David Boyle, Wayne Vallis and several cousins. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 11:00 am from St. Rose of Lima Church. Interment to take place in Holy Cross Cemetery.
