Obituary of Constance Inez Mott
With her loving family at her side the death of Connie Mott, wife of the late Raymond Mott occurred at the Dr. Everett Chambers Hospital in Fredericton on Friday, April 26, 2013 after a brief illness. She was born on March 11, 1928 in Saint John to the late Murray and Helen (Foshay) Duffy. Connie was a dedicated wife and mother; she devoted her life to raising her family. She was a very crafty woman; Connie loved quilting, crocheting and painting. She was avid gardener, specializing in african violets.Connie is survived by her children: Gary (Noreen) of Cranbrook, BC, Deborah Bastedo (Ralph) of Windsor, ON, Rodney (Theresa) of Wirral, Starr Frazier of Mooresville, NC and Cindy McGaghey-Juskus of Charlotte, NC; sister, Winnifred O’Hara; sister-in-law, Kay Duffy; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband; parents; brothers: Barney and Malcolm and sisters: Mae Lynch and Elsie Holt. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery. For those who wish remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
