Obituary of Frances Blinn
It is with deep sadness that we must announce the unexpected passing of M. Frances Blinn (Joyce), of Saint John, NB, on Thursday, June 13, 2013, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Church Point, NS on September 18, 1938, she was a daughter of the late J. Albenie and Jacqueline (Thibeault) Blinn. Frances worked in the Health Care Profession, owning and operating Birch Manor special Care Home for 24 years.Frances is survived by two daughters, Vicki (Glenn) Seely and Patti (Jim) Knox; three sons, Michael (Nancy), Walter (Carolyn Moore) and David (Jennifer); eleven grandchildren, Brittany, Alex, Danielle, Jordan, Andrew, Maria, Sasha, Ashley, Lauren, Jamie and Chantal; two great-grandchildren, Natalia and Alexa; two sisters, Gail (Alfred) Comeau and Donna (Dave) Lewell; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Jenny Tozer and Bud McLaughlin; She was predeceased by her parents; son, Daniel and her children’s father, James Joyce.Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Sunday from 7-9 pm and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 12:00 noon from St. Pius X Church. For those who wish remembrances may be made to C.A.R.M.A Cat Rescue or any charity of the donor’s choice.
