Obituary of Joseph Louis LeMoine
The death of Lou LeMoine, husband of the late Mary Delima (Vautour) LeMoine, of Saint John occurred on Thursday, October 03, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital in his 100th year. Born May 1, 1914, he was a son of the late Louis Marie and Elizabeth Annie (Amireault) LeMoine. Lou served overseas in World War II with several different units. He was a kind man that will be missed by all who knew him. Lou is survived by his four children: Raymond (Christina) of Charters Settlement, Patricia Fraser (Peter) of Saint John, Anita Blakeney (Bruce) of Upper Golden Grove, and Donna Armstrong (George) of Rothesay; grandchildren: Cheryl (Fraser) Brown, Christopher Fraser, Thomas Blakeney, Andrew LeMoine, and Laureen (LeMoine) Foster; great-grandchildren: Robyn Brown, Gordon Brown, Matthew Brown, Mallory Fraser, Austin Fraser, Kaitlyn Foster, and Owen Foster. Besides his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by 2 sisters: Mary Boudreau and Louise Shonoman. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, 634-7424, with visiting on Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 11:00 AM from St. Peter’s Church, 50 Clarendon Street, Saint John. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
