Obituary of Louise Marie Barb Albert
Albert (Cyr), Louise Marie Barb - passed away on January 14, 2014 surrounded by her loving family at Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on June 4, 1931 on Prince Edward Island, she was a daughter of the late Wilfred and Mary (Gallant) Doiron. Her greatest pride and joy in life were her children. Her favorite things included reading, crossword puzzles, family card games and of course her cats. She enjoyed her social times spent with friends in her apartment lobby. Surviving are her, sons, John (Aileen) Cyr, Saint John; Gary (Debbie) Cyr, Saint John; Darren (Louise) Cyr, Garnett Settlement; daughters, Linda (Mrs. Ronnie Basque), Rothesay; Lorna (Mrs. Dave Burnett), Saint John; Lorraine (Mrs. Wilfred McLaughlin), Saint John; Laura (Mrs. Frank McLaughlin) St. Martins; Lois (Mrs. Gil Blouin) St. Ann Madawaska; Leona (Mrs. Wendall Stuart), Saint John; Mary Cyr; Marlene Cyr (Fredy); Sandy (Mrs. Mike Bartlett) and Luanne (Mrs. Greg Landry), Moncton; brothers; Connie (Rae) Doiron; Jimmy Doiron; sisters; Rose LeBlanc; Bernice Graves; Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews; 1 great-great grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Albert; brothers, Lawrence Doiron, Alyre Doiron and Louis Doiron; sisters, Delma Price, Georgina Miller and Norma Doiron. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday and Friday, January 16 and 17, 2014, from 2-4 and7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 10 AM from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 91 Waterloo Street. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Kidney Foundation of New Brunswick, the Diabetic Association or to S.P.C.A Animal Rescue League would be appreciated by the family.
