Obituary of Patricia Margaret 'Pat' Arsenault
With great sadness, the family of Pat Arsenault, wife of the late Kenneth Ste. Croix and Joseph Arsenault, announces her passing on July 23, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born January 23, 1932 in Jacquet River, NB, she was a daughter of the late George and Lucy (Doyle) Daigle. Pat loved music, especially the guitar, and dancing. She also enjoyed camping, playing cards, bowling, gardening, and she was also a great cook. Pat is survived by her sons: Kenneth St. Croix (Dorothy), Randy St. Croix (Dawn Richardson), and Jim St. Croix (Kim); her daughter, Marie McGouey (Thomas); step-children: Bernie Arsenault (Kathy), David Arsenault (Kim), Mike Arsenault, and Annette Arsenault; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers: Raymond, Clifford, and Ronnie; sisters: Cecilia, Barb, Leona, and Joyce; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by both of her husbands; her parents; her brother, Austin; and her sister, Pearl. The family would like to thank the staff of 5CS and 3BN at the Saint John Regional Hospital for their exceptional care of their mother during her time of illness. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, 634-7424, with visiting on Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 7 to 9 pm and Sunday, July 27, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28, 2014 at 12 noon from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Please place online condolences and remembrances at www.brenansfh.com.
