I have just heard of the passing of Sylvia Saunders in Saint John. I am very sad to learn that she has left us. After she graduated in Medicine from Queen's University, Sylvia trained in Radiation Oncology with us at the Cancer Centre for Eastern Ontario here in Kingston. She was a fine colleague and a very compassionate professional to her patients, and I know that she settled in very well in Saint John with Ed after departing from Kingston.

Vittu & I were very sorry to hear of Sylvia's passing. She was a respected colleague and I had the pleasure of working with her throughout her career as a Radiation Oncologist here in Saint John.

On behalf of its members, executive and staff, the Royal Kennebeccasis Yacht Club would like to extend its heartfelt condolences on the passing of Dr. Sylvia Saunders. She, and her husband Ed, were long-time, much respected members of the club.
I was saddened to hear of Sylvia's death. She was a kind and interesting woman who I will always remember on the river and at the RKYC. She amazed me with her going back to become an oncology doctor as a mature student. I am sorry for her family's loss but she will be remembered fondly.
Our sincerest condolences to Sylvia’s family and friends. Always enjoyed our chats at the yacht club and enjoyed seeing her and Ed sailing the St. John River. Sylvia was a lovely lady and a compassionate doctor. Another star has been added to the Heavens.
