Obituary of Louise Marie Stacey

Louise Marie Stacey (wife of the late Andrew H. Stacey), passed away peacefully at the Loch Lomond Village on September 2,2022 at the age of 91, with her niece Sharon by her side.  Born in Cocagne, NB on January 27, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Levi & Laura (Roy) LeBlanc.

As a young girl Louise worked in the cotton mill, and later in life was employed at Northern Telecom until her retirement.  She was a member of The Canadian Women’s Army Corps., Warrant Officers Sergeants Woman’s Association, and the Legion’s Ladies Auxiliary. Louise was blessed to be married to her soulmate for 58 years. Her son, Guy LeBlanc was always in her heart and prayers. She was a beautiful, kind lady with a heart of gold.  Louise enjoyed walking, gardening, crocheting, reading skating and dancing.  Louise loved to travel with her husband Andy. Some of the places they visited were Scotland, Florida, Cape Breton, Newfoundland, and Canada’s West Coast.  They spent many happy times camping at TNT Coles Island. Louise will be dearly missed by all.

Louise is survived by her siblings: Florence Garland (Ronald), Lorraine Dupuis, Cecile LeBlanc, Alma Legere (Victor), Claudette Downing, Rita Richard (Leonard), Linda Hachey (Levi) and Gerald LeBlanc (Rachel), along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Louise was predeceased by her sister, Mary LeBlanc and brother, Yvon LeBlanc.

A very special thank you to the staff of Maple House for the care and kindness shown to our beautiful Louise.

When the sun says hello to the mountain

When the night says hello to the dawn

I’m alone with my dreams on the hillside

I can still hear your voice although you’re gone.

Forever in our hearts
