I am seriously disappointed. Barbara, you probably don't remember me, but I was one of the 'flock.' A little group of us that gathered at your place, to share kindness. Over a decade ago I reached out to find out if your mother was still alive, I'd been told then, incorrectly of course, that she had already passed. I wanted to meet her, talk to her, thank her for being so kind and for teaching me the value of kindness. Not only did she preach it, she practiced it. It is one thing to give away money, it is something all together different when you donate your time. Wow! The resume. No paid jobs after the military, that I can see. Not about what she could get, it was about what she could give. I will be forever grateful for all that she shared with me and our little group. I hope we've done you proud; because you sure did that for us.
